Collage 1
The students chose a color and went through magazines tearing out things their color. After that, they cut their color into different shapes. Then they got a wooden block and collaged all over it.

print1
The picture on the right is a print. This isn't just any type of print though. It started with the students choosing three colors such as yellow, green, and yellow-green or blue, violet, and blue-violet. Then with their watercolors they took the two colors like yellow and green then mixed them to make yellow-green. After that, they spead water all over the paper and let their brush go all over the paper every once in a while swiching colors. After the painting dried the students took a peice of plexy glass and drew a design on it with ink and printed the design on the painting. (Turned it upside down wet and applied pressure to transfer the design to the paper)

suitcase
The children were told to think of a place they wanted to go to. Then they drew eight items that they wanted to take with them. Unfortunatly, when they got to the airport the person told them that their suitcase was too big. So they had to narrrow their eight items to four. After they they chose their four essential items, they drew them on a strip of paper, colored the items with watercolor pencils, and used a watercolor brush to paint their painting.

Print2s
This is a print. The students were given a peice of plexy glass, some ink, and a que tip. They were told to spread ink onto the plexy glass and print it pon the paper. They kept on doing that and kept on gaining more layers. Eventualy they got something like the picture on the left.

plums
This is a mono print.(A print that is never made the same way, in other words a print that never has the same result) The children first thought of a desghn for their print. After they had created the design they sketched over it until the lead was so dark that just by rubbing the paper over the linolium block you could see the design clearly on the block. After they got the design to show on the block the took a linolium cutter and cut away all the white that the didn't wan't to show on the stamp. The did tester prints to see what they wanted to cut away and what they wanted to keep. Then they did it with colored ink and that was their finale draft.
